well this is something i wanted to address due to the numerous questions i get askd like all the time ! lol
everybody either wants to knw,
- why are you always in the hospital ?
- wht is sickle cell ?
- how does it feel ?
so here it goes, you can read it all or just wht you really wnna knw ..
hmm ... sickle cell, my life pretty much. sickle cell is a disease of the red blood cells & NO it's NOT CONTAGiOUS !
i was born with sickle cell but my mom & my dad had no clue, until i turnd 1 year. it actually took 2 trips to 2 different hospital's for doctors to figure out wht was wrong with me & to my parents surprise i was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia. from then on throughout my whole life up to now, i'd say i've been in the hospital a little over 100 times, no lie. now back to wht sickle cell is all about... well i can tell you one thing, it hurts like a hell ! with sickle cell you never really knw wht your gonna get, one time you could be complaining of a really bad stomach ache or your arm could just feel lifeless and dreadfully painful as if someone were just standing on it with combat boots lol
so im pretty sure i can take twice as much pain as most ppl iknw. this also comes along with a list of things tht can happen to you which idnt really wnna get into considering im dealing with facing one right now :-x
so anyway, there you have it ! a little something about my life & the reason why im so damn skinny lol
